I always say, "People in one country can't live a day without the help of people in other countries.

People in Japan, for example, must think of people in China when they wear clothes.

They must also think of people in Africa and South America when they eat chocolate and feel happy.

T : How do I look today?

S : ??

T : I'm wearing a nice tie and it's my favorite. How do I look?

S : Blue. Nice color!

T : Yes! I was in Blue Team on the Sports Day, and it's my favorite color.

Do I look nice with my tie?

S : No!!

T : Why not? I think I look nice!

S : We are in Yellow Team.

T : Oh, sorry. By the way, it's my favorite tie and in which country was it made?

S : China!!

T : Do you think so? It's my favorite and it's very expensive!!

S : China!!

T : Oh, let me see.... Oh! Yes! It was made in China.  You're right. In what country was your cloth made?

S : (thinking and finding) Oh, Vietnam. / Malaysia. / Indonasia. / China.

T : Oh, most of your clothes were made in China, right?

S : Yes. Chinese people help us a lot. Thanks to their work, we can wear many kinds of clothes. So, we must think of people in China when we wear clothes.

T : Next, I'd like you to look at this picture. Can you guess what?

S : ?? Ah, Cacao!

T : Yes! It is a cacao. What can we make with cacao beans?

S : Choco!

T : That's right. We can make chocolate. Do you like it?

S : Yes.

T : Me, too. I like it so much. Now, I have a quiz question. In which country produces cacaos most? Please tell me top three countries.

S : Ghana!

T : Why? Tell me.

S : We know Ghana chocolate.

S : Oh!!!!

T : Right, but Ghana is the second. How about the first? You can talk with your friends.

T : OK. Now, please tell me.

S : Cote d'lvoire.

T :Oh! Why do you know the fact?

S : I used this!(地図帳を見せて)

T : Wow! You're smart! Cote d'lvoire is the first. How about the third?

S : ????

T : I'll give you a hint. It is in Asia. An island country!

S : Indonasia!

T : Yes.

T : Look at this picture. This boy picked up cacao beans. How does he look?

S : ....

T : Does he look happy?

S : No.

T : How does he look?

S : He looks sad.

T : I see.

S : He looks tired.

T : I think so too. How old does he look?

S : 8 yeas old.

T : He is so young but he works there. Has he ever eaten chocolate?

S : No....

T : Right. He has never eaten it. He does not even know anything about chocolate.

S : ....

T : So, we can enjoy eating chocolate thanks to their work. We must think of people in Africa, Asia and South America when we eat chocolate and feel happy.
